When it comes to planning and preparation, Canva is a great way to plan out and organize material for the class that students can reference. In addition, Canva can be used to support domain 2, classroom environment, by creating engaging visuals that establish a culture for learning. Moreover, Canva can be utilized with the domain of instruction to teach with visuals that are designed specifically for the class. Finally, appropriate use of Canva supports the professional responsibilities domain because professional looking presentations can be made with Canva that demonstrate an educator's professionalism.
I think using Canva in my future classrooms is a possibility. There are some benefits it provides like making neat looking presentations and posters. This would be helpful for clearly communicating to my students specific terms, definitions, and essential class content. I think it would also be useful for getting students interested and excited in the learning because there are a lot of cool pictures, images, and fonts available to be utilized.
